●The atomic number of 
 rhodium(Rh)  is the number of protons in rhodium(Rh) nucleus.



●The atomic mass of 
 rhodium(Rh)   is the average number of  protons plus neutrons of all the isotopes of  rhodium(Rh)   .


●The masss number of 
 rhodium(Rh)  is the number of protons plus neutrons of a specific isotope of  rhodium(Rh)   .

                    Step-2:

We need to convert atomic mass of 
 rhodium(Rh)  to mass number of  rhodium(Rh) by rounding if necessary (In case of fraction) .





From periodic table,


  ●Atomic number of 
 rhodium(Rh) is 45.

●Atomic mass of  
rhodium(Rh) is 102.9

●To find out mass number,we need to round 
102.9 to a whole number.


So,by rounding,we are getting mass number of  rhodium(Rh).

How Many Neutrons Does rhodium(Rh) Have?

By the difference between mass number and atomic number of

In another way,

Or,103 =45+Neutrons
