           Step-2:

To convert mixed number to improper fraction,you have to use the following formula:

(Whole number ×Denominator of fraction+ Numerator of fraction)/Denominator of fraction

         Step-3:

2 1/3 as an improper fraction


  2 1/3

=(2×3+1)/3

=(6+1)/3

=7/3(Answer)

●7/3 is an improper fraction because numerator is greater than denominator.
