【Tips】Hydrogen Bonding in Water||What is H Bonding

Image
Hydrogen Bonding in Water Hello !everyone ,today I am going to explain the hydrogen bonding in water.You know that water  has the atom of Oxygen and hydrogen.The chemical formula of water is H₂O. The electronegativity of oxygen is higher than hydrogen.  The electronegativity value of oxygen is 3.5 and the electronegativity value of Hydrogen is 2.3. The difference between the electronegativity of Oxygen and hydrogen is (3.5 - 2.3 equal to) 1.2. Since the structure of water molecule is bending,the electronegativity difference (1.2) indicates that the bond between hydrogen and oxygen (O-H) in water molecule(H-O-H) is polar.That is, oxygen will be partially negative and hydrogen will be partially positive. So you can say that H₂O is a polar molecule. Remember that the electronegativity difference for nonpolar bond is from 0.2 to 0.4 and the electronegativity difference for polar covalent bond is from 0.52 to 1.6 and for ionic bond is more than

What is Water(H2O) Made of? Many people want to know how water molecule is made out of or made of.Actually, every matter is made of atoms.Water is also made of atoms. The chemical formula of water is H₂O.So water molecule is made out of hydrogen atom and oxygen atom.In water we get two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom. What is water molecule made of Water is a polar covalent molecule.In a water molecule ,we get two covalent bonds(H-O-H). There are billions of water molecules in a single drop of water.Among water,we get hydrogen bond. Hydrogen bond This bond is responsible for the liquid state of water. What is the Formula of Water? -The of water is H₂O Here 2 is a subscript that indicates that in a water molecule  we get two hydrogen atoms. Next Characteristics of Hydrogen Bonding

What Type of Bond is in H2O ||What Type of Bond is Found in H2O Many people ask google" what type of bond is H2O".Actually,they want to ask what type of bond is found in H2O or which type of bond is present in a water molecule. However,now I am going to tell you what  type of bond is present in H₂O. In a single  H₂O molecule, you will get only covalent bond.That is,an H₂O molecule is formed by covalent bond.An H₂O contains two sigma covant bonds. But we see water as liquid in our practical life. Hydrogen bond is responsible for the liquid state of H₂O.When we heat water,water becomes vapour(gas).Thus we break down the hydrogen bond between H₂O molecules. H₂O in vapour don't hold any hydrogen bond but hold covalent bond.  Next

Chemistry How to Balance Chemical or Chemistry Equations||How to Balance Chemical Equations Step by Step Hello,Everyone!Now we are going to learn how to balance chemical equations step by step. Balancing chemical equations means to equalize the number of same atom from both side of a chemical equation. A chemical equation expresses the reactants in the left side and products in the right side of = sign or -->sign. Now follow the following steps to know how to balance chemical equations step by step.

●Ground State Electron Configuration of Bromine (Br):  1s² 2s² 2p⁶ 3s² 3p⁶3d¹º 4s² 4p⁵ Explanation: We will write the electronic configuration of Bromine in just 5 Steps.                    Step-1: The atomic number of bromine is 35.So bromine has 35 electrons and 35 protons.                                             Step-2: Now memorize the following sequence of the orbitals. ss    ps ps  dps  dps    fdps  fdps fdps fdps.... In a line- ss ps ps dps dps fdps fdps  fdps fdps fdps fdps.......                  Step-3: Now first numer the s-orbital (start with 1s)like this: 1s2s   p3s   p 4s dp 5s  dp 6s fdp7s  fdp 8s...... According to your need. In a line- 1s2s   p3s   p 4s  dp 5s  dp 6s fdp7s  fdp 8s........ Remember s-orbital start with 1s                      p-orbital start with 2p                                           d-orbital start with 3d                        f-orbital start with 4f Again,Now(seco

【】How to Draw Lewis Dot Structure

Hello, Everyone! today we are going to know how to draw Lewis structure or Lewis dot diagrams for atoms,ions and simple molecules. How to find out valence electrons of an element? Before I begin, I would like to ask you a question:how many valence electrons does chlorine have?  For getting the  answer of that question we need to look at the periodic table. Notice that within any given column all the elements have the same number of valence electron. To get valence electron's number, all we have to do is to count the columns starting from left.Skip the transition metals and  bear in mind that the only exception to this is helium atom, which has only 2 valence electrons(duet) ,not 8. Now find chlorine in the periodic table. Remember that Chlorine's symbol is Cl. See it in the 7th column. That indicates us that it has 7 valence electrons. If you  do electronic configuration of chlorine,  then you will see that the outermost shell has
