In this post, I will show you the word equation for sodium hydroxide and sulfuric acid .



 Remember that a word equation always takes this form:

Now,look at the word equation for sodium hydroxide and sulfuric acid.

●sodium hydroxide + sulfuric acid  sodium 
sulfate + water


If you translate the above word equation using chemical symbols or formulae.
             
 ,then you will get the following equation.





At first,we have to know the formula of sodium hydroxide and sulfuric acid,sodium sulphate and water.

◆The formula of sodium hydroxide  is NaOH.


◆The formula of sulfuric acid is H₂SO₄.


◆The formula for sodium sulphate is Na₂SO₄.


The formula for water is H₂O.
